 Dear Members and Friends:

Tishri is fast approaching and that means preparations for the High Holidays are in full swing.  We have just experienced the heart-heavy work of closing our dear Ahavath Achim building and continuing in temporary quarters as we begin the task of re-establishing ourselves with a new and exciting future.

We look forward to sharing the coming Yomim Noraim, the High Holiday season, with you at the American Legion Hall at Owen Fish Park this year.  While only a temporary location, the attendance, warmth, and enthusiastic singing of our first Shabbat there is indicative of the joyful spirit we are feeling for the future.  This Rosh Hashanah begins a new chapter in our history, one that together, we can make bigger and better than ever before.

We extend an invitation to the community to join in celebrating the New Year with us at the American Legion Hall. There is no charge for attending services.  All seating is free but reservations are absolutely necessary so that we can prepare seating properly. Call the office at 203-372-6529 or email to office@ahavathachim.org.

On behalf of our Gabbaim and the Board of Directors, we wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Sweet New Year,

Shanah Tova U’metukah.
